Dear Christian brother or sister
Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) called tracts "Gospel Seeds." He said every Christian should have a "leaky seed basket." Here are two other significant quotes of his to consider:
"I used to write texts on little scraps of paper, and drop them anywhere, that some poor creatures might pick them up, and receive them as messages of mercy to their souls."
"If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees ... let not one go unwarned and unprayed for."
I wrote this tract booklet for you to keep in your pocket, handbag, briefcase or the cubby-hole of your car. Hand them out to anyone, to everyone. Give them as a gift to someone with whom you've shared your faith. Put them in your neighbour's mail slot. Three in ten UK households do not have a single book (Evening Standard survey - 2011). Let's change that by making their first book - one about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
